Lindsey's Approach & Style
Meet Lindsey, your no-nonsense, strong-willed, yet deeply compassionate psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. With over 30 years in healthcare, including 15 years as a nurse and two as a provider, Lindsey expertly blends dark humor with deep empathy to help clients navigate anxiety, trauma, and those inevitable existential crises.

Lindsey’s journey is rooted in resilience and transparency. Raised by parents from very different financial situations—experiencing everything from “spam to caviar”—she brings a broad understanding of life’s ups and downs. Her love of travel reflects this, whether she’s camping in a tent or unwinding at an all-inclusive resort. Outside of work, she adores spending time with her kiddos, her animals, and her fiancé, who has quite literally helped her walk through hell and back.

Lindsey is no stranger to life’s hard knocks, having overcome her own struggles with alcohol—now proudly approaching six years of sobriety—while grieving the loss of both her parents, friends to substances and suicide, and enduring a difficult divorce and personal traumas. She’s walked the walk, and she doesn’t shy away from sharing her journey, believing in the power of transparency to foster trust with her clients.

In her practice, Lindsey offers more than just professional care—she provides a safe, judgment-free space where no issue is too big or too small. She’s a fierce advocate for those in active use or recovery, welcoming everyone with unwavering support and an open heart. Lindsey completed her doctorate early while very pregnant and grieving the loss of her beloved dog, showing her deep understanding of trauma’s impact and the resilience it takes to keep moving forward. She’s also helped 26 professional women get sober by being an open book about her own recovery journey.

With Lindsey, you’re not just getting a provider—you’re gaining a fierce ally. She will meet you where you are, without judgment, offering a menu of options to help you find what works for you. So, whether you’re bringing a mountain of baggage or just need a strong cup of coffee, Lindsey is ready to face life’s challenges with humor, authenticity, and the belief that, together, you can handle it all.
